I’m Speaking & Running a Workshop at NorDevCon 2017

I’m pleased to be able to tell you that I’m going to be speaking at NorDevCon 2017 in Norwich, UK. The event runs for 2 days in February (Friday 24th and Saturday 25th) with a special Schools Day on Thursday 23rd (which I’ll be helping out at). There are also workshops happening on the Thursday, a wine reception and a conference dinner, so it’s definitely worth making the trip to my home city of Norwich for.

I’m going to be talking about the future, specifically the part about it being full of bots and AI. On the Friday I’ll be talking for 45 minutes about how communication is changing how we do business and why you should care as a developer. The talk is aimed both at people who have Skype for Business, but also those who don’t – and that’s OK!  We’ll look at all the different tools available to you in Office365 and how best to utilise them. On Saturday I’ll be running a 90 minute workshop specifically around building a bot for the Skype ecosystem that you can take back to your organisation and use.

I’m really excited about both the talk and workshop because there have been some incredible changes in the past 6-12 months on the Office365 platform that I just don’t think a lot of people know about, so it’s great to be able to get out there and talk about them. NorDevCon is great conference with a really good mix of technical, business and agile content which is going from strength to strength, now in its 4th year.
