I’m Speaking at Northern UC Usergroup – 8th Feb 2018 in Leeds, UK

I’m pleased to be able to tell you that I’m going to speaking (and demo’ing) at the Northern UC Usergroup in Leeds, UK on Thursday 8th Feb 2018.

It’s the first meeting in 2018 for the Usergroup, and it should be a great evening. Also talking are Ben Lee, who’s going to cover the Office365 and Teams Roadmap, and Will Rowe who will talk about “The IT Industry in a Nutshell”. Both should be great talks by experienced speakers who really know their stuff.

For me, I’m going to cover the incredible recent rise of bots, why it’s happened, and how it’s changing how we work. I’m going to talk about how Microsoft are making things easier for all us with their tooling and services, and then I’m going to demo how to build a small but working bot which you can deploy in your own organisation.  It should be great evening.

It’s really nice to be heading somewhere different to speak, I’ve never been to Leeds before and I’m looking forward to meeting some new faces. If you’re interested in the world of Skype for Business & Microsoft Teams development, Bot Framework, Artificial Intelligence and bots, and you’re able to get to Leeds then why not come along – it’s free 🙂
