I’m Speaking at Comms vNext in Denver June 5/6

I like speaking at conferences. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow Microsoft Teams developer enthusiasts and see what they’re doing. It’s also a good chance to keep up with what everyone else is doing in the Microsoft Teams space and I try and attend as many sessions as I can when I’m there.

This is going to be particularly true at Comms vNext – which I’m nearly as excited to attend as I am to speak at. The organizers have done a really great job of rounding up some amazing speaking talent. It’s an irony that the two speakers who will be talking at the same time I will are people I would both 100% choose to see at a conference. So, we’re going to have to find some way of distilling all the good content into sharable bits, maybe with a drink or two in the evening 🙂

Anyway, I’m going to be giving two sessions whilst I’m in Denver, CO on June 5th and 6th.

The first is aimed at NON-DEVELOPERS and is all about building your first Microsoft Teams application. It can be daunting if you’ve not done any sort of development work before (or even if you have but in another field) so I want to show you how to get started and where to go for help. Here’s a short video I did about the talk:

The second talk is a deep dive into building IVR solutions on Microsoft Teams. Yes, you can build bots that can make and receive audio calls, transfer people, accept DTMF tones etc. Here’s a short video I did about that talk:

If you’re going to be at Comms vNext, please come and say hi. I won’t even be offended if you don’t make my talks, but I’ll happily talk you through the main parts and the slides will all be available after the event.

If you’ve not yet booked, as I write this, tickets are still available. Just check out the speaker lineup if you’re on the fence, it’s really something.
