Skype for Business Technical Training at Office 365 Summit

Skype for Business Technical Training at Office 365 Summit

As I’m sure you now know, Lync is going to be known as Skype for Business.

Microsoft have just announced a series of training sessions at the Office 365 Summit events, which start on January 19th and run through March, in Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Johannesburg, Amsterdam and Sydney.

Of particular interest are these sessions:

For IT Pros:

Skype for Business: Architectures and Design Considerations
Servicing the Existing Deployment and Upgrading to Skype for Business
Skype for Business: New Meeting and Video Investments
Skype for Business: Server Core and Voice Improvements
Skype for Business: Ensuring Media Quality in the Network

For Developers:

Opportunities with the Skype Developer Platform

For Adopters:

Office 365 Power User Training Parts 1,2 and 3

If you’re able to make the sessions – lucky you! You can register here. If not, sessions and other content will be available on the Office 365 Summit Readiness tab from the start of February.

If you’re only interested in on-premise deployments, I wouldn’t be put off by the title of the summit. There is sure to be content in the sessions which is relevant to on-premise installations too, especially with regard to development.
