Speaking at Evolve 2018 in the UK September 10th

I’m excited to tell you that I’m speaking at Evolve this year. If you don’t know about it already, Evolve is a free one-day Microsoft 365 and Azure conference held in Birmingham, UK. This year it’s on September 10th.

My talk title this year is:

Building your first Microsoft Teams Application – tips and tricks from design to submission

Last year at Evolve I wrote a Teams Bot from scratch to working product during the talk:

I don’t think I’m going to try and do that again this year (still recovering!) but I am going to talk about an app I recently wrote and released. I’m going to cover the entire app creation process with the tips and tricks I’ve picked up; from idea and design, through development tools and shortcuts, adding natural-language processing, Azure hacks to make sure you’re not wasting money and can scale, to submission to the App Store.

It should be a lot of fun. Evolve is a great technical conference for learning new things, and also an excellent opportunity to network with some great people. Just look at the schedule list if you don’t believe me!

Although Evolve is free, you do still need to register, which you can do here. Hope to see you there.
