I’m Speaking at Commsverse 2025!

I’m really excited to share that I’m going to be speaking at Commsverse 2025.

Commsverse is a community tech conference that is focused on Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Loop and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service. I like that it’s big enough to attract some great international speakers and sponsors that you’d want to talk to, but also small enough to care and not be overwhelming. Having a sharp focus on a select number of technologies helps as well I think.

I’m going to be talking about my recent experiences building Declarative Agents for Microsoft Copilot, in a session titled “Building Copilot Declarative Agents: Everything I’ve learned building ClothesPilot”.

I’m going to be using my ClothesPilot demo DA as a way to explore how you can build powerful agents for Microsoft Copilot that take action and combine data from multiple sources.

The Declarative Agent landscape (and the pro-developer landscape for Copilot generally) isn’t standing still though, and the agent I have now looks quite different from the agent I started with, as I’ve re-built and adapted to take advantage of new features and announcements.

I’ll continue to do that right up until Commsverse starts to make sure you get anything that comes out of Microsoft Build as well. In fact, although I plan to speak at multiple conferences with ostensibly the same talk title, the actual content will be wildly different depending on when in the year it is delivered! Such is the current pace of change in Copilot development right now – there has never been a better time to procrastinate about putting together your talk content! 🙃

Anyway, if you’re interested in hearing me talk about this, and you can be in the UK June 18th and 19th then please do consider it. Commsverse has an awesome venue with plenty of cool things to look at and great food (always a bonus!). And, I believe they still have tickets, but be quick.
