I’m Speaking at Microsoft Ignite | The Tour in Tel Aviv, Jan 22/23

I’m really excited to finally be able to tell you about this. I’m going to be speaking at Microsoft Ignite | The Tour in Tel Aviv on January 22nd and 23rd. The Tour is a distilled, focused version of Microsoft Ignite, in a city near you. Learn new ways to code, optimize your cloud infrastructure, and modernize your organization with deep technical training.

I’m going to be delivering 2 sessions:

TMK10 – What’s new in Microsoft Teams – the hub for teamwork

Teamwork is how work gets done today. Microsoft Teams, the hub for teamwork in Office 365, meets every team’s unique needs by bringing together people, conversations, meetings, calls, files and tools in one place, including intelligent communications capabilities. In this demo-rich session, we will look at how Teams has evolved and what new capabilities – both for end users and IT teams – have been added recently. We will also look at some of the exciting new features that are coming to the product. More details

BRK3563 – Deep Dive – Building an IVR experience in Teams with the new Calls and Meetings API

Microsoft recently announced the new Calls & Meetings API. One of the things this new API enables is the ability to create IVR solutions. Join Teams developer and MVP Tom Morgan as he walks through how you can build your own IVR solution. Tom will cover setup, registration and authentication, as well as walking through code samples to build a simple but functional IVR bot. All the code will available to download so attendees can start building their own Teams-based IVR solutions. More details

In addition, I’m also going to be presenting 2 theatre sessions, 15 minutes of code – Creating a Teams IVR Bot and Microsoft Teams Developer Platform: my top 5 features.

You can browse the full session catalog now as well as register to attend.

Looking forward to saying hello to as many of you as possible in a few weeks time!
