I’m Speaking at: Virtual M365 Saturday Ottawa on Saturday

One of the surprise upsides of the current unpleasantness, is that so many events that would normally be in-person have gone online – giving me the opportunity to virtually attend events I never would have been able to normally.

This is one of those. M365 Saturday Ottawa is a free community‐focused technology event dedicated to educating and engaging members of the local technical community. Ottawa is over 3350 miles away, but I’m going to be talking there this Saturday, from the relative comfort of my garage*.

I’m talking about building bots for Microsoft 365, covering both Bot Framework and Power Virtual Agents. It’s a talk that’s aimed at newcomers to the space – so you don’t need to be a developer to hopefully get something out the session. We’re going to be building a bot that forecasts the weather as part of the session.

You can read the full session abstract here, and then register to attend this free event.

*The talk is at 7pm in my local time, which is bedtime for our youngest. My study is next to the nursery and I’m too noisy when presenting to get away with doing it there, so I’m taking myself outside where I can get all excited and noisy without disturbing anyone!
