Cool Tool of the Week: Microsoft Graph Essentials VS Code Extension

I don’t think this is going to become a regular weekly feature, but I did want to draw attention to a great new VS Code Extension I’ve just come across.

It’s called Microsoft Graph Essentials and it’s for developers who work the Microsoft Graph Toolkit & API, in Visual Studio Code.

The biggest thing for me is that it brings some additional discoverability to the toolkit with autocomplete for both CSS variables and HTML components:

It also has 2 commands you can use to quickly open the API documentation or the Graph Explorer. I have a hard time remembering new commands and re-training my fingers, but I really like the idea of being able to quickly load up the docs to check something out so hoping I can get used to using this command!

You can download the extension from the VS Marketplace: Microsoft Graph Essentials – Visual Studio Marketplace
