AutoAssist: an Announcement
I am excited to announce that Modality Systems have agreed to add AutoAssist to their portfolio of Lync Add-ons, and develop it with me into a commercial product. This is great news for both existing and new AutoAssist customers as Modality will provide the depth and resources needed to ensure longevity, support and the ongoing development of the product. I have been overwhelmed by the interest in AutoAssist (a good thing!) and now with Modality’s backing I can satisfy many of the requests which I have received around enhancements, pricing, purchasing, support and software assurance. I feel like a proud father and am excited about the future for my little baby!
A significant feature which will be available in the new version of AutoAssist, and which has been consistently asked for by many of you, is Microsoft Lync 2010 support. The new version of AutoAssist will support Lync 2010, Lync 2013 and the upcoming Skype for Business.

I am also pleased to announce that I have negotiated a significant discount with Modality Systems for all of my existing AutoAssist customers. I will personally email each of you individually over the coming days to tell you more. Please rest assured that any information I have about you in connection to AutoAssist will not be passed to Modality and you will not be contacted by Modality directly unless you explicitly agree to it or decide to purchase the latest fully supported version of AutoAssist from Modality. Please also note that you are under no obligation to purchase the latest version: that is entirely up to you.
Thank you for all your support and the interest you have shown in AutoAssist. Here’s to the next chapter!
